About Corriedale

The Corriedale sheep is the oldest of all the crossbred breeds, a Merino-Lincoln cross producing a medium-fine, dense and semi-lustrous fleece which produces a durable and soft yarn. The soft, warm yet durable nature of the fleece makes Corriedale wool the perfect choice for throws, bedspreads and blankets.

All our comfy foot stools, throws, bed throws and blankets are individually hand woven with Corriedale wool from Patagonia, Argentina. Working with the softest fleece and natural white and brown colours (no dyes or chemicals are used), each throw is finished to the highest standards with turned edges or fringes.

Each throw is characterized by the different weave used and the thickness of yarn – regular, thick and super thick. The combination of weave and thickness of yarn produces beautiful colour variation and unique patterns. No two throws are the same!

Caring for your Pure Lana Corriedale products

Dry clean or hand wash in 30° – use a gentle/fine wash detergent specifically for wool. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Steam iron to remove creases.
